Our story began in 2021, during a time of big changes for my family. As my daughter and I were preparing to move to a new home, I found myself surrounded by an overwhelming amount of clutter. It was then that I had my “aha” moment – why did I have so many things I didn’t need?
Like many of us, I had fallen into the trap of constantly chasing after new fashion trends, only to realize that it left me feeling stressed and my wallet a little lighter. And as I looked around, I couldn’t ignore the impact this fast fashion culture was having on our planet.
That’s when the idea for Declutter was born. With the support of my partner, we set out to create a space where people in Malta could embrace the second-hand revolution. We wanted to make it easy for our community to buy and sell pre-loved clothing – all while doing our part to reduce waste and promote sustainability.
